Chocloate Lovers Yoyo's


this recipe is very creamy and full of chocolate, it makes a very light biscuit and is a great treat for morning or afternoon tea

Ingredients

  • 500grm butter
  • 1 cup custard powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 2/3 cup icing sugar
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 4 cups of any sort of plain chocolate or buttons (whatever is your taste)

Directions

  1. soften butter
  2. sift custard powder, baking powder and icing sugar into butter
  3. mix with a cake mixture till creamy (it will go really white)
  4. add vanilla essence
  5. sift flour into mixture 1 cup at a time and mix
  6. then add chocolate, chop up chocolate if have a block, leave buttons full
  7. roll into balls, place on to greased tray
  8. press a fork on top of the balls, flatten slightly
  9. fan bake at 150 deg for 15-20 min or until biscuits bounce back when touched
