Chocolate Cake With Snickers Bar Icing


Enjoy a chocolate cake with a caramel touch with the odd nut.

Ingredients

  • 175g butter,softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 1 snickers bar
  • 2cups icing sugar
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 drops vanilla essence

Directions

  1. Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well each time. Disolve cocoa in boiling water. Sift flour & baking powder into mixture. Half cocoa, 1/2 flour mix. Rest of cocoa
  2. rest of flour + 2 drops of vanillia essence. mix till combined.
  3. Bake at 180. Cheack after 20mins with a knife. When the knife
  4. comes out of the mixture with a slide and little mixture attatched
  5. Take it out to sit.
  6. ICING
  7. When the cake has cooled.
  8. Heat 1 snickers bar chopped, butter & water on high for 35 secs.
  9. Add vanilla essence, icing sugar.
  10. enjoy on its own or with icecream
