Fantastic Best Ever Chocolate Cake
This recipe goes way, way back, it has been passed on to so many lucky people. Other recipes are thrown away and this big cake is always baked.

Ingredients
- Note this makes a big cake---start with a big bowl.
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teasp baking powder
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teasp salt
- 1 cup of oil (try canola)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup hot water with 2 teasp baking soda
- 2 teasp vanilla essence
- 2 eggs
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together the first 5 ingredients
- In another bowl beat together the remaining ingredients
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour liquids in.
- Beat until well mixed.
- Pour into a non stick 26cm cake tin
- Ice with chocolate icing

how much cocoa powder do u need 2 use in dis recipe !!!!

Seeing this has 2 1/2 cups flour, I would try 1/4 cup cocoa powder, this receipe would be a good experimental one, you could even try orange zest and chocolate chips etc to taste. Have fun trying out different combinations!
