Tia Maria Liqueur & Real Chocolate Ice Cream


'To die for' home made creamy, chocolate & coffee liqueur ice cream with real cream, real chocolate, and real Tia Maria liqueur.

Ingredients

  • 75 Grams dark chocolate
  • 2 Tablespoons Tia Maria liqueur (or other) (I use more!)
  • 1/2 Cup castor sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 300 mls cream

    Directions

    1. * Beat egg whites very well until stiff.
    2. * Add sugar and beat again.
    3. * Beat the cream in a separate bowl.
    4. * Melt the chocolate (pour boiling water over it until it softens).
    5. * Fold the cream into the egg whites.
    6. * Add the melted chocolate and fold into cream / egg white mix.
    7. * Add liqueur and lightly mix all ingredients together.
    8. * Freeze

    6 depending on serving size None - Freeze overnight 20 - 30 mins
