*Pavlova Roll Up.*


What a fantastic recipe this is.With seasonal fruit this recipe can be altered to suit all occassions.
This recipe has been in our family for a very long time and now its time to pass it on to everyone who enjoys the KIWI classic.
Pavlova Roll Up.
Cream and chocolate shavings just to mention a few lovely
ingrediences. Raspberries ,boysenberries,kiwi fruit too.
I think this recipe would suit any family meal, and especially that
Xmas Function. Make and enjoy and you will see what I mean.!!

Ingredients

  • 4 Egg Whites
  • 1 Cup Castor Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornflour.

Directions

  1. Beat Egg whites until soft peaks and stiff.
  2. Add gradually Sugar.
  3. Add Vanilla,Vinegar and Cornflour
  4. Grease sides of a sponge Roll tin,line the bottom with baking paper.
  5. Bake at 170 C for 15 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  6. Turn out onto greaseproof paper,sprinkle with Castor Sugar.
  7. Allow to cool. Slightly.
  8. Spread with whipped cream and Fresh seasonal fruit.
  9. Roll up the pavlova and fruit. Much like a jam roll.
  10. With extra cream whipped.Cover the rolled up pavlova ,covering it all.
  11. Decorate with chocolate shavings or extra seasonal fruit.
  12. Serve with extra whipped cream and more fruit salad.
  13. Enjoy and let your taste buds be the judge.

I have used normal white sugar in this recipe instead of castor sugar at time and has come out just the same,just beat a bit faster to dissolve the white suagr.
I also have other recipes similiar to this but relating more to the meringues and pavlova`s.
