Kumera And Silverbeet Quiche


Tasty and healthy and very verstile you can adapt this recipe by adding your favourite vegies and even meat or tinned fish. I adapted this recipe from another quiche recipe so this is an original recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 kumera cooked and sliced
  • 1 cup cooked silverbeet, drained.
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of oil
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • onion, garlic and red pepper sliced and sauted in butter
  • 2 eggs

    Directions

    1. Mix the flour and milk and mustard together carefully
    2. add the eggs and mix well
    3. add the remaining ingredients and mix together gently
    4. pour into a flat well greased dish
    5. cook until set
    6. 180 degrees celcius.
    7. Approx, 25 minutes.
