Tiny Ham Croissants


The perfect snack with late afternoon drinks or suppers

Ingredients

  • Flakey Pastry
  • 6 oz ham finely chopped
  • 1 tablesp butter
  • 1 tablespoon onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon cream

    Directions

    1. Roll out pastry and cut into strips about 10cm wide
    2. Cut pastry strips into squares, then into triangles
    3. Saute ham in butter with onion, garlic, wine, salt and pepper
    4. Mix flour and mustard with stock
    5. Add to pan, stir until it thickens
    6. Add cream
    7. Chill
    8. Place spoon lots of fillings on triangles
    9. Roll up from wide base to top to form croissants

    6-10 persons bake at 200 for 10-15minutes 30 minutes
