BBQ Banana Dessert

This kiwi classic is the perfect way to finish a family BBQ, or celebrate an occasion with your mates around on a summer evening. The melted chocolate and gooey marshmallow are so sweet and sticky, this is a must try the next time you have the BBQ fired up! Get experimental with additions, M & Ms or Smarties are a favourite of my kids, but some sprinkled nuts are great for the grown ups.

Delicious Caramel Square

Try this delicious caramel square recipe, you won’t believe how great it tastes until you do! Be sure to stir the caramel at all times, as it is prone to burning and sticking to the pot. Trust me, the stirring will be well worth it when your caramel squares are way better than your at your local bakery!

Pavlova Roll Up

This is not your classic pavlova – the flavours are similar but the presentation is stunning. A twist on the classic recipe, your guests will love the new take on an old favourite.

The recipe calls for fruit salad and cream as toppings, but any of your favourite pavlova toppings will work well.

If you’re looking for a more traditional pavlova recipe or something else a bit different, have a look at our other pavlova options.

Double Chocolate Muffins

Chocolate muffins are always great. This delicious double choc muffin recipe is a personal favourite, as you get the added pleasure of melted chocolate in the already wonderfully moist chocolate muffin. Great for in the lunchbox, if they last that long!

Apple Spice Cake

Apple spice cake is perfect for afternoon tea. This recipe is simple, made essentially in one bowl, and produces a moist and delicious cake.

I think this cake is best served warm with lashings of whipped cream on the side.
For a variation try adding chopped walnuts mixed with brown sugar and cinnamon onto the top of the cake before it goes into the oven.
