These mini Chicken, Ham and Asparagus pies are a great snack, either as finger food or as a starter before the main meal.
Chicken, Ham and Asparagus Pie
Cut chicken into pieces and fry in oil until cooked.
Put creme base soup mix and chicken stock in microwave proof bowl.
Add cream and 1 cup of milk, mix with a whisk.
microwave 1 minute, mix again and repeat this step until the mixture becomes a thick sauce (add more milk if it gets really thick).
Chop up ham and asparagus.
When mixture is ready add chicken, asparagus and ham, mix.
Butter one piece of pastry, place another piece on top and butter, repeat once more.
Fold pastry in half length ways, then in to three.
Use a large muffin tray, grease, press pastry into muffin tray.
Fill the pastry case with the filling (put in 3-4 bits of chicken).
Butter one piece of pastry and crumpel up, place on top of pie.
Repeat until mixture is finished.
Cook at 150 deg for 15 min or until golden brown.
