Down-On-The-Farm Pancakes
Dust off the old iron skillet and begin the Sunday morning fry-up. It only takes one pancake from this 100+ year-old recipe to fill your tummy and warm your soul.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tea-spoon baking powder
- 1 tea-spoon salt
- 1 table-spoon sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 4 table-spoon melted butter
Directions
- Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the sugar.
- In a seperate bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk and beat again. Use this mixture to moisten the dry mixture, adding the liquid gradually and beating thoroughly to eliminate any lumps.
- Finally stir in the melted butter and bake golden brown on a pre-heated skillet or pan. Grease according to the type of skillet or pan used.
- Use iron skillet or griddle for best results.
