Sharon's Supertasting And Scrummy Apple Cake(Nigel Flange)Ays
This Apple cake is sooooo easy to make, not too good on the calorific front but for a special dessert cake it is fabulous! I
always get asked to make it for parties and it is a generous size and the men Love It!Is has the nick name of Nigel flange nd a friend of mine who is called Nigel often mispronounced the name but loves the cake for dessert.The recipie was given to me by a very dear friend about 4-5 years ago.

Ingredients
- 2c SR FLOUR,
- 1C SUGAR,
- 1C SOFT BUTTER,
- 2 EGGS AND
- 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE
- I LGE tin of sliced apples (cooked)
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except apples,
- press into a large flan dish,
- assemble apples in a pattern on top
- bake at 180 degrees until brown and crispy
- sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixed together and serve
