Aunt Jeanettes Healthy Ice- Cream


I`ve chosen to perfect my original vanilla ice-cream because it is the worlds most popular flavour. It`s great because it has a yoghurt base,a minimum of sugar and a texture that resembles commercial ice-cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 teasp gelatine
  • 1 tablesp cold water
  • 3 tabsp hot water
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • 2 teasp vanilla essence
  • 2 tablesp sugar
  • 1/2 cup skim milk powder

Directions

  1. Swell gelatine in cold water
  2. Stir in hot water and stir until dissolved
  3. Leave until room temperature
  4. Place in bowl ,sugar milk powder vanilla essence and gelatine mixure.
  5. Fold in yoghurt.
  6. Freeze until hard,
  7. Beat with electric beater for 20 minutes.
  8. Refreeze.
  9. P.S.When in freezer keep covered with tin foil.
