Janmas Crazy Crunch
This is an old recipe thats fun. At first you might think 8 cups sounds a lot, but get over it. Anyway it's a good recipe which I've had for a very long time.

Ingredients
- 8 cups Popped Corn
- 1 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup Corn Syrup ( Glucose syrup ) or maple syrup
- 2/3 cup Slivered Almonds
- 1 1/3 Cups Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 11/3 Cups Peanuts or walnuts
Directions
- Mix corn and nuts in a large pan. Combine sugar, margarine, syrup in saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling, stirring occasionally, 10 -15 minutes or until mixture turns a light caramel colour. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over corn and nuts mixing to coat well/ Spread out on baking trays to dry. Break apart.
