The Best Chocolate Chip Biscuits Ever
This recipe has been in my family since my Nana used to make them. The difference with these biscuits is that they are very buttery and therefore not traditionally as sweet as your average chocolate chip biscuits.
And a twist to my family recipe, I like to add some coco pops just for added 'crunch'!
Beware, highly addictive and bad for your health!

Ingredients
- 180g butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup chocolate drops
- 1/2 cup coco pops (optional)
- 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar until white and fluffy
- Add chocolate drops, coco pops, flour, baking powder, vanilla essence and salt. Mix well with wooden spoon
- Roll in balls. The consistency you are after is not crumbly, but not too moist either. They only JUST want to come together as a ball
- Flatten out balls with a fork
- Bake in a moderate oven (about 180 degrees celsius) until starting to golden on top
